Michelle Keegan wowed as she tried out a new look on Tuesday - giving herself bangs.

The 36-year-old soap star looked glowing as she sat in a make-up chair while a hairdresser got to work on her locks. Michelle gazed at the camera while her hair was quaffed and sprayed with hairspray - while her forehead was noticeably covered by a drastic new fringe. She sat in silence as a team of beauty experts got to work on her face and features.

Sitting in a white robe, Michelle smiled in delight as her new look was created by a hairstylist and while a make-up artist brushed her cheeks and added some lip gloss. The team were hard at work making Michelle look camera ready as she prepared to pose in clothes for a photoshoot.

Sharing the behind-the-scenes moment via her Instagram Stories, Michelle wrote: “Switching it up today.” She later shared a preview snap from the shoot where she was gazing wistfully into the distance. She captioned the image with a message stating: “Dreaming of lunch”.

A later short video clip showed her posing against some netting while wearing a strapless dress with beige and white stripes. Michelle may be glowing thanks to her hair and make-up glow up, but she is also basking in adoration thanks to the release of her recent crime show Fool Me Once.

The Netflix miniseries was unleashed via the streaming service earlier this month and co-stars Dame Joanna Lumley and The Hobbit star Richard Armitage. The crime drama was based on a novel written by celebrated mystery novel writer Harlan Coben - and the show hit the most streamed spot in a number of countries including the UK and the USA. Celebrating this fact, Michelle gushed online: “Number 1 in the world & in more than 60 countries... I feel like I’m in a dream right now.

“Thank you to every single person who has reached out or messaged me re ‘Fool Me Once’ i promise you I read them all... Over the moon that you’ve enjoyed the show as much as we enjoyed making it. It’s been a very very special week.”

Last week, it was hinted that Michelle might now move to the USA in an attempt to crack Hollywood thanks to the success of the show. She told the Guardian: "I went to America when Mark was out there. Didn’t like it. But let’s see. If a job comes up… I guess?" She added: “I’ve never thought beyond what I’m doing right at that moment. And I think that’s how I live now as well. I don’t think in terms of goals. I live in the moment.”

Her husband Mark Wright had previously worked in Hollywood as an occasional correspondent on gossip show Extra - however his quit the role in 2019 after just two years. His UK TV show, A Wright Family Holiday, which saw him exploring the UK along with his father and brother, made headlines this month with reports suggesting it had been axed after just one season - although a BBC spokesperson insisted the show had only ever intended to be a one and done event.
