Lesley Joseph has dismissed long-running rumours of a Birds of a Feather feud and even revealed how she is helping one of her co-stars get through the pain of divorce.

It was previously reported that despite Linda and Pauline playing sisters on Birds of a Feather, the pair didn't get on too well once the cameras stopped rolling. "People say Pauline and I have fallen out," Linda admitted to the Mirror in 2022. Shutting down the speculation, she added: "Obviously I couldn't see her during lockdown but I've seen her since."

And now Lesley has confirmed things are still hunky dory between all three women. The Dorien Green actress, 78, admitted she sees more of Linda Robson than she does Pauline Quirke, but only because Linda lives in London while Pauline resides up north. "The three of us went through 30 years together," Lesley explained when talking about her Birds of a Feather co-stars. "You can't work that long with people and they not be in your life; it's impossible."

Birds of a Feather enjoyed an almost decade-long stint on the BBC from 1989 to 1998, with the comedy sitcom returning to our screens on ITV from 2014 until 2020. Lesley admitted she'd love to reprise her role as man-eating Dorien again, but "Pauline has given up acting really, she just wants to run her drama schools".

However, Birds of a Feather may get the chance to see Linda and Lesley reunited on screen once again, with Lesley keen to help her pal navigate life as a single woman and go on a bunch of crazy trips across the globe - with a film crew in tow to capture the madness on camera.

Linda confirmed in November last year that she and husband Mark Dunford had decided to part ways after 33 years of marriage. "He's [Mark] a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough," the Loose Women star admitted. "I've got my family and my kids around me. And I'm going on a cruise with Lesley Joseph in November. I'm keeping busy. I feel fine. I'm just going away on trips all the time."

Linda's cruise buddy Lesley is already planning more trips with her former co-star following their November jaunt, teasing: "We might do a travel series, visiting different countries and looking at cheap and expensive places. I think people enjoy seeing the two of us together. We row, but it's always put on - we slip into character. I think we could have a huge amount of fun with things to do before you get to 80, or something like that."

Elsewhere in her interview with Woman's Own magazine, Lesley refused to discuss Linda's pending divorce but stressed she will always be there for her life-long pal. "I won't talk about that, that's for her to talk about, but I am always there for her - friends are," the actress told the publication when asked how Linda was getting on.

Linda gave some insight into the breakdown of her marriage earlier this month as she appeared on Loose Women. The ITV panel, including Ruth Langsford, Olivia Attwood, Brenda Edwards and Linda, were discussing Sarah Ferguson's recent skin cancer diagnosis when Linda revealed she'd gone with her eldest daughter Lauren to have some moles checked. Taking a swipe at her ex, Linda joked: "I think if anything changed on my body, my husband wouldn't notice, he wouldn't notice if I was on fire."

Discussing her split in a more serious manner in November, Linda admitted to Woman's Own that she wasn't interested in dating since calling time on her marriage to Mark. "I'm not interested [in dating] honestly. I can't be a***d with all that," she declared. She had previously hinted at issues in her marriage during discussions on ITV's daytime show. In Linda's words: "If something's not right in a relationship then I find it very hard to disguise it. And things haven't been right in my relationship for quite a long time so, erm, I've been very honest about it."
