Woman's wholesome tribute to late dog leaves people in floods of tears
For most people, going up and down the stairs at home is something they do day and night without a second thought. But one dog owner brought social media users to tears after sharing the sad story of her beloved pet's death and the heartfelt tribute she left behind.
TikToker Sharblivin posted a video of her staircase, over some gentle acoustic music, that began: "These old stairs needed a refinish so badly. But you see, there was this." The clip then focuses in on one especially worn out step.
She went on: "This was his step. And this day, last year, in that very spot he put his head on my lap and went to forever sleep." During this moment, she shared photos of her gorgeous golden retriever resting on the step in question as well as at the bottom of the stairs.
