Coleen Nolan has shared the sad reason why she will never marry again after rekindling her romance with love, Michael Jones.

The Loose Women star, 58, met Michael on Tinder back in 2021 but it wasn't all plain sailing with the pair breaking up a number of times before deciding to give things a proper go last year. After trying again, Coleen and Michael are now happier than ever - but the TV star has insisted that marriage won't ever be on the cards for them.

Despite the fact that things between the lovebirds are going swimmingly at the moment, Coleen knows deep down that she will never marry Michael - despite admitting that he would love to tie the knot with her. The reason Coleen doesn't see herself walking down the aisle again is due to her own insecurities and self-sabotage after she broke up with Michael three times before they finally decided to give their relationship a real go of it.

Coleen first went public with her relationship in January 2022 after finding Michael on Tinder. However, she later revealed that she was incredibly apprehensive about going public with her new romance and felt 'freaked out' by all the attention.

Opening up about her future with Michael, Coleen told OK! Magazine: "I might get engaged, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m going to walk down the aisle. I know Michael would like to marry me and to be fair to him, it’s probably from insecurity because I’ve finished with him three times since I met him."

Despite her reservations, Coleen has been trying hard to rid herself of her past traumas when it comes to relationships. The Loose Women star was previously married to EastEnders actor Shane Richie. The two stars first met in 1986 and planned to marry in a huge ceremony in 1990 but eloped to Florida at the last minute when their plans took another direction.

They pair went on to have two sons - Jake Roache, 28, and Shane Jr Nolan, 32, and had a blessing at a church when Coleen’s father fell ill a few years later. But their romance wasn't to last and the pair split in 1997 - with both stars later admitting to extra-marital affairs.

In her 2009 autobiography, Coleen revealed she first became suspicious the former EastEnders actor was up to no good during a stint on stage in Manchester for a production of Grease. In his own memoir, Rags to Richies, Shane held his hands up to cheating with the actress in question, Claire Taylor.

After parting ways with Shane, Coleen went on to find love again with musician and future second husband Ray Fensome. The pair welcomed daughter Ciara into the world on 19 June 2001 and Ray popped the question a few years later in 2005. The pair become husband and wife in November 2007, but it wasn't to last forever - with their split announced in February 2018 after two years of marital difficulties.

After experiencing the heartache of being cheated on, Coleen has been working on herself in recent years in a bid to try and not sabotage her current relationship. The Loose Women star has sought therapy for everything she has been through - and hopes it's making a difference in her relationship.

"It was all my issues, because of what I’d gone through, so I was pushing him away thinking I couldn’t deal with it," she told OK! Magazine. "I’ve had therapy, I’ve sorted my life out, and I’m very open to everything he’s providing me emotionally, and it’s fantastic. So let’s not try to fix something that isn’t broken."
