Neil Jones makes savage Traitors dig about ex Katya saying she's not 'faithful'

Neil Jones made a brutal dig about his ex-wife Katya Jones on live TV while referencing The Traitors.

The Strictly Come Dancing professionals are currently on tour together and have remained colleagues following their split in 2019. They were together for over a decade and said 'I do' in 2013 before joining the Strictly cast in 2016. Katya and Neil are part of the dancers taking part in the live UK tour.

Neil has since revealed what the cast gets up to between shows. While appearing on BBC's Morning Live, the dancer shared how they have been playing their own version of The Traitors. Neil has taken on the role of Claudia Winkleman but made a dig at Katya's performance in the game.

He shared: "We’ve actually created our own Traitors on tour – Strictly version. It is brilliant. So good." Neil was asked who was banished from the game first, like in the TV show. He replied: "Katya went straight away," before looking straight at the camera and added: "She wasn't a very good faithful."

Viewers noticed the dig at his ex, as one said: "#MorningLive Ooh, that was a bit of a swipe from Neil Jones..... 'Katya wasn't a good faithful'. Harsh for live TV but also true." Neil and Katya met back in 2008 at a dance competition in Blackpool. Announcing their separation, they said: "We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together."

They added: "Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other. We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx."

Katya was spotted sharing a kiss with her Strictly celebrity partner Seann Walsh in 2018, even though both were in relationships with other people. Neil and Katya managed to stay together for a while after the scandal with Katya insisting the moment "doesn't define her", adding that she has "grown so much" in the years since.

Although many assumed the incident between Katya and Seann prompted the split, Neil has previously stated that this wasn't the case. During an interview with The Sun in 2020, Neil said: "We found that we'd grown apart like people do, so we were like, 'OK, let's go our separate ways'. We are lucky that we don't have kids. It had nothing to do with what happened [with Seann]. We were moving in different directions but we are friends again now."

Neil, 41, has since moved on with Love Island star Chyna Mills, 25. They were first romantically linked in 2022, got engaged last year and welcomed their daughter Havana in October 2023.
