Sofia Richie screamed with joy as she shared a sweet baby update with a “down to earth” gender reveal.
The 25-year-old shared the news she and husband Elliot Grainge were expecting their first child in a Vogue photoshoot last week, and the model looked incredible in black-and-white snaps of her cradling a blossoming baby bump. The model revealed she was six months pregnant, and had kept the news secret until she felt comfortable, and in a touching update on TikTok, Sofia gave fans a glimpse into her and Elliot’s gender reveal.
The couple shunned a glitzy and extravagant reveal and instead opted for their backyard, as Elliot held the confetti cannon while Sofia stood near their swimming pool with their beloved dog. She rocked beige joggers and a grey sweatshirt with her hair in a loose ponytail, while Elliot wore an all black outfit as he prepared to shoot the cannon. “Ready?” she asked her husband, before the 30-year-old set off the popper after a quick countdown.

As pink confetti and smoke filled the air, Sofia began to scream and sprinted around her backyard, leaving her dog - and Elliot - bewildered. “I’m so excited!” she exclaimed as she hugged her husband, and she joked about her reaction in the caption on her TikTok video: “Sorry to all my neighbors for the horrifying scream.”

After news of her pregnancy broke, Sofia took to Instagram to share the news on social media, and said her and Elliot were excited to welcome their first child later this year. “Our hearts are filled with so much love! So thankful for all of your support! Can’t wait for this next chapter of life,” she wrote.
