The popular honeymoon destination could cost couples less than you think
With peak wedding season only few months away, nearlywed couples might be looking to get their honeymoon booked in but first things first is deciding which location to travel to.
In recent years, far-flung countries including the Maldives, Bora Bora, Bali and Fiji have proved popular with those on the hunt for a romantic break, but recent insights from wedding gift list and honeymoon fund service Prezola have revealed the most favoured honeymoon destinations with UK couples for 2024 are a little closer to home.
Research has shown that Greece is the most popular destination for honeymooners, with the preferred accommodation of choice being a hotel. This country is then followed in popularity by Italy and the UK, with 32% of couples preferring relaxing activities and 29% opting for adventure.
