Amazon Prime is well-known for its host of shopping perks, from free next-day deliveries to unlimited access to some of the most talked about films, and it's latest perk will deliver all members a Hello Fresh box for free.

Those who sign up to the £8.99 Prime membership can get their hands on the popular food delivery meal service, without paying a penny for the delivery. Hello Fresh shoppers usually pay an extra of £4.99 on each box, and that's ontop of the food box cost, to get it dropped onto their doorstep, but Prime's new perk will save you £239.52 a year.

The saving breaksdown to foodies that order one box each week, a total saving of £19.96 if you ordered meals for your household each week. The price of the Hello Fresh box fluctuates depending on how many meals a week you want to order, but its starts at £29.99 for three meals.

And if this new Prime perks convinces you to sign up to Amazon's shopping subscription you could even get this for free, as it offers a 30-day free trial for any unsure users. You can simply sign-up and leave after 30-days if you decide it's not for you.

And any money-conscious students get a cheaper £4.49 monthly rate and the chance to sign up for a six month trial period, that'll get you through the remaining semester's of 2024.

Similar to the likes of Gousto and Mindful Chef, Hello Fresh delivers easy-to-cook meals to users door each week, with hassle free recipe cards and all included ingredients portioned out for households. Everything from weighed meats to the exact amount of fresh herbs, stock and sides.

Users can pick out the exact meals they'd like to recieve each week, everything from traditional roast with vegetables to Korean style BBQ beef, it's thought to help with inspiration in the kitchen and save pennies on their food bill.

As Adam Park, UK CEO at Hello Fresh says it's an ideal box for anyone looking for handy, family meals. He said: "For anyone looking for inspiration for healthier, more convenient, and delicious meals for themselves and their families, there’s never been a better time to take a fresh approach in the kitchen."

While the UK Country Manager at Amazon, John Boumphrey, said: “We’re always looking for ways to provide more value to our Prime members, and our new offer with HelloFresh will help customers save even more throughout the year.

"Prime members already have access to a wide selection of great value groceries through Amazon, and now have an opportunity to get free delivery on a range of recipe boxes.”

Here at Mirror Choice we've also compared it to rival food subscription services, as you can see how it fares against Phomo, Gousto and Green Chef.
