Travis Kelce's former girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, has spoken out about a post she made about Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts, which landed her in "trouble".

Nicole, who was in a relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs player from 2017 to 2022, defended her actions on the 'Behind the Likes' podcast. Kelce, who is now dating pop sensation Taylor Swift, was reportedly not pleased when Nicole posted a video of Hurts at an NBA game with the caption "Fly Eagles fly," according to Marca. Hurts had recently announced his own relationship status.

Nicole explained: "Everyone has eyes. I got in so much trouble for that," but insisted her intentions were pure and she had no plans to interfere with Hurts' relationship.

She also revealed she's considering moving away from dating athletes, saying: "I'll never say never, but I fully, wholeheartedly believe that I am out of the athlete stage."

She added: "I would love to just date someone that - I do think that I am attracted to men in positions of power and I also think that those types of men are attracted to me, so I would love to date an executive of a record label or a movie producer so that we can go to the sporting events.

"Let date night be courtside at the Lakers game, that's my kind of guy. I don't really need to go to any more sporting events because I have a jersey on with someone's name on the back - I did that, it was fun, I'm good."

Kelce is focused on winning with his team, as they aim to keep their Super Bowl title. They're off to face the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday and even though they're not the favourites, Kelce isn't bothered.

"I ain't thinking about a single one I did, I already accomplished," he said. "I'm thinking about this one on Sunday and I want it more than I've ever wanted one in my life."

Kelce, who scored twice last game, also mentioned: "There's nothing like playoff football. You could feel that energy the week before against Miami at Arrowhead.

"It doesn't matter who you are, where you play, if you rally together with the men and women that you've got and the team that you've got, like I said you can play anywhere you want to. You got to bring that juice no matter who's in the crowd."
