Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in awkward run-in at son Saint's basketball game
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were seen together in a seemingly unavoidable run-in during their son Saint's recent sporting game.
The former couple, who called it quits in February 2021 when Kim filed for divorce, were pictured in an awkward courtside interaction at the basketball game in Los Angeles on Friday. The pair had already been sat far away from each other throughout the match.
But it was when the two, whose divorce was finalised in November 2022, were attempting to leave the venue that they collided. The Kardashians star, 42, couldn't avoid the Bound 2 and Heartless hitmaker as she collected eight-year-old Saint.

Previous pictures had shown Kim appearing downcast as she browsed her phone while Kanye was seen sitting away from the reality TV star as he chatted to father-of-12 Nick Cannon. The SKIMS founder protected her face with a pair of large Hollywood sunglasses.

Kanye appeared to wave his hands around as he spoke to ex-wife Kim. The ex-couple also share kids North, 10, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four.
The rare run-in comes after a relationship expert told The Mirror that Kim and Kanye will "always have a connection". Once their divorce was finalised in November 2022, Kanye moved on with Bianca Censori and they tied the knot in December of that year.
Kanye has often taken aim at his ex-wife, but that didn't stop Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian from hugging the rapper when they reunited last week for his son Saint West's basketball game. Relationship expert Louella Alderson believes Khloe's behaviour around Kanye will have been influenced by her family.
Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, Louella said: "Despite the turmoil and tension that has occurred between Kanye West and the Kardashian family in recent years, there will always be a connection between them as Kanye and Kim share four children together." She said Kanye and Khloe's hug could have been "a genuine moment of affection" between them after years of being family.
The relationship expert added: "Khloe has always been good at putting her personal feelings aside and focusing on the well-being of her family. This has been most evident in her relationship with Tristan, the father of her children. He cheated and lied to her on a number of occasions, but Khloe doesn't talk badly about him and continues co-parenting with him in a positive way for the sake of their two children."
She also suggested Khloe would have wanted to show a positive relationship with Kanye for the sake of his kids. The musician shares four children with his ex-wife - Saint, Chicago, North, and Psalm. Louella said: "Showing a united front towards Kanye in front of Khloe's children and Kanye's children could help create a sense of stability and normalcy for the children. It also sets a good example for them to see adults being civil and supportive towards one another."
She continued: "When there is conflict or tension between family members, children can feel caught in the middle and may experience feelings of stress, confusion, or even guilt. For Kim and Khloe's children, seeing them getting along with Kanye can help ease any potential negative feelings they may have toward their father or uncle. It also allows them to feel comfortable and secure in the relationships within their family."
