Disgraced former reality TV star Stephen Bear made £22,305 after he uploaded a sex tape online without the consent of his ex-partner.

Bear was jailed for 21 months in March after being convicted of voyeurism and disclosing private, sexual photographs and films. Earlier this month he was released from HMP Brixton, in London.

He uploaded footage of himself and Love Island star Georgia Harrison, without her permission, to OnlyFans. The convicted sex offender appeared in Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday for a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing.

Judge Christopher Morgan agreed on Friday that Bear had made £22,305.46 from the sex tape but has delayed deciding how much the disgraced TV star should pay Georgia, who waived her right to anonymity. The case was adjourned to allow for contribution from Georgia, who is currently featuring on Love Island All Stars.

The judge explained he would ask Georgia's opinion on whether she required compensation, before he made a confiscation order for the money. The court heard that the original video made £1,650.98, but earned considerably more after Bear's number of subscribers increased.

Prosecutor Andrew Bousfield said: "Mr Bear is not a billionaire. He has £60,000 in a house and not much else. At this time [he uploaded the video] Mr Bear was pretending to be a billionaire on his Twitter account.

"His most valuable asset at that time was selling sex videos." He continued: "The money has been bouncing around and has been moving around his family and has been divided and moved around from mother to brother to father."

Mr Bousfield claimed that Bear "refused to provide information he was required to". He added: "The Twitter billionaire is not prepared to stand in the witness box but instead stays in the dock. What he is really doing is dancing in the shadows here. He is not prepared to show how much he earned from OnlyFans."

Financial investigator Laura Mackenzie, from Essex Police’s Economic Crime Unit, said: "He wasn't a billionaire at all, no. His bank account was overdrawn."

Ms Mackenzie stated that Bear's OnlyFans account had 1,061 subscribers when he uploaded the video on November, 8, 2020. He originally made £1,650.98 but this figure increased to £22,305.06 when his subscribers increased by 822 in the month before Georgia was made aware of the clip.

Bear was previously ordered to pay Georgia £207,000 in damages after she successfully sued him for civil damages in a separate case in July. Judge Christopher Morgan said earlier that Georgia's civil ruling at the High Court was a "real complication" because the Love Island star's lawyers have asked if they can go through the criminal justice system as Bear has been “ignoring” all correspondence.
