Meghan Markle unrecognisable in throwback snap with pal before meeting Harry
Meghan Markle looked different before meeting Prince Harry.
An unearthed snap shows the Duchess of Sussex posing alongside her former friends at a charity event in London, while she was still unknown in the UK. Before meeting Harry, the 42-year-old was known in some parts of the world for playing Rachel Zane in the US TV legal drama, Suits. She was also known for her social media presence, most notably her lifestyle blog The Tig.
But before worldwide fame, Meghan was said to be keen on attempting to crack the UK celebrity circuit and is believed to have had her sights set on a Made In Chelsea appearance and dating a footballer. In 2013, the former actress jetted to the UK to promote herself and the legal drama and befriended a string of UK celebrities. All of whom, she no longer speaks to.

However, her former friend Lizzie Cundy has now shared a throwback snap of a fresh-faced-looking Meghan before she found herself in the royal fold.
Taking to Instagram, the socialite and presenter, 55, and Meghan posed up a storm alongside their pal Claire Caudwell. Lizzie looked sensational as she squeezed into a figure-hugging gold and black dress as she rested her hand on her waist. Meanwhile, Meghan opted for a deep caramel satin asymmetrical dress.

The mum-of-two opted to wear her raven locks in a more relaxed manner, flowing freely down her back. In the make-up department, the former actress kept her glam to a minimum with a touch of shimmer on her cheeks and striking black eyeliner around her eyes. Captioning her post, Lizzie penned: "How time flies! A few years ago on this day .. before Meghan had met her Prince, and when I was a brunette! Partying with the very gorgeous @clairelcaudwell #throwbackthursday #meghanmarkle."
Her post which has been liked by her adoring fans soon racked up comments, with one writing: "OMFG, wow you all look phenomenal. Also not many women can look as hot as you do both as a blonde and a brunette." "You always look fantastic," penned a second. While another went on to write: "Wow!! Very lovely."
Meghan and Lizzie first met in 2013 when she attended a function hosted by businessman John Caudwell. Despite often exchanging messages with the then-actress, things soon changed. Once Meghan met Harry, allegedly via Instagram, she is said to have cut all contact with her British friends, including Lizzie, Piers Morgan and Made In Chelsea's Millie Mackintosh.
