Kanye West is set for rounds of grim bacterial infections and "detrimental oral health issues" because of his $850,000 titanium teeth, according to dentists.

Experts warn the Bound 2 rapper is no longer able to chew his food with the "fixed and permanent" silver-coloured dentures. Leading dentists tell The Mirror he should have never had the procedure and that the hitmaker will live to regret his flashy smile.

New York-based cosmetic dentist Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein spoke exclusively to us after Ye debuted his nasty gnashers, telling us food will get stuck in the razer-sharp and "uncomfortable" mouth gear, explaining he should have just had veneers instead.

Dr Rubinshtein said: "Based on the photos the titanium dentures that Kanye received, he won't have the ability to properly chew his food and because he doesn't have an actual bite." He explained the dentures will affect and damage his TMJ, the joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull, and will lead to bacterial infections.

He says Ye's teeth will lead to "even more detrimental oral health issues" and would never recommend the procedure. He doesn't even recommend the alternative which would be grills that go over the teeth after seeing lots of damage to teeth underneath.

"I do whatever it takes to save every single tooth. To pull teeth out for a trendy procedure is irreversible and will forever affect your life," he explained. "Dentures are not comfortable, hard to eat and always get food stuck underneath."

The Flashing Lights hitmaker unveiled his teeth last week, they are completely non-removable. Kanye's new specially-made dentures are known as "fixed prosthodontics" and are part of a never-before-seen type of experimental dentistry co-created by the rapper.

A source revealed to Page Six: "They are, as the name suggests, fixed and permanent," and added: "This goes way beyond veneers or grills. And his particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before."

The source explained that the dental work was partially Kanye's idea as he worked alongside the famous celebrity dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly to help "manufacture" and "fit" the dentures. Dr. Thomas is well-known for working on a number of celebrities in the past including artists Post Malone, Lil Yachty and Odell Beckham.

The shiny new dentures are reported to be made of both palladium and platinum materials and are largely inspired by a James Bond character. Last week, Kanye revealed to his fans that the unique dentures were a reference to the character Jaws who appeared in the action movies The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.

As Kanye unveiled his shocking new look, his 10-year-old daughter North West followed in her father's footsteps as she also showcased her brand new dental work. North and her famous mum Kim Kardashian took to TikTok this week to share a lip-syncing video in which North's sparkling new diamond grills were on display.
