Strictly stars Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach are said to be 'enjoying a string of secret dates'

Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has reportedly been enjoying a string of secret dates with co-star Bobby Brazier.

When Ellie and Bobby appeared on the BBC competition, rumours spread about them growing close to their dance partners. Ellie and professional dancer Vito Coppola fought off rumours they were dating and recently confirmed to the Mirror that they are just close friends. Fans also had their suspicions about Bobby and his partner Dianne Buswell, but she has been in a loving relationship with Joe Sugg since 2018.

As the stars embarked on a Strictly tour across the UK, which started in Birmingham last week, tongues were set wagging about a new duo. It was recently claimed former Coronation Street star Ellie, 22, and EastEnders star Bobby, 20, have been going on secret dates.

It was also said the two have been holding hands on the Strictly coach and have even shared a 'cheeky snog'.

"Their friendship has grown and grown, and they’ve been spending nearly all their free time together before and after performances," an insider claimed to The Sun. "They’ve been having their meals together, and flirting increasingly openly. The chat on tour is they may have enjoyed a cheeky snog, and will go public with their romance any week now."

The Mirror have contacted Ellie and Bobby's representatives for comment.

It comes after Ellie - who won this year's Strictly - shared a sweet snap of her and Bobby cosying up together on her Instagram page. In the picture, she and Bobby posed for a selfie while on the road from Birmingham to Sheffield, where the show will pick up again. With their eyes half open for the camera, Ellie put her arms around Bobby while wearing a large colourful scarf.

Bobby and Ellie were recently pictured enjoying a cosy meal together ahead of the tour commencing. The two Strictly stars headed to Nando's to pick up a well-needed treat as they prepared to show off their dance moves across the UK.

The adorable picture comes days after Ellie and her Strictly dance partner Vito confirmed their relationship status, following rumours the couple were more than friends. "We have a great relationship and honestly when you just find people, not just me and Ellie but their family which I love," Vito told The Mirror. When asked for clarification, the duo confirmed they were just friends.
