EastEnders fans fear horror wedding twist as Lola announces big news
EastEnders fans have been left fearful Lola Pearce’s brain tumour diagnosis could coincide with her upcoming nuptials to boyfriend Jay Brown on the BBC One soap.
Lola’s diagnosis prompted her to bring forward the date of her wedding, which she announced to family and friends in scenes on Thursday evening in Walford.
Lola’s father figure Billy Mitchell was left quietly heartbroken at the implications, but agreed to walk her down the aisle.
Yet fans have now been left fearful the change could result in devastating scenes on the couple’s big day.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: “Why do I feel Lola gonna die on her wedding day I hope not.”

A third ominously questioned: “Will Lola make it to the aisle?”
Meanwhile another fan had a theory for the upcoming scenes as they wrote: “I think after the reception – Lola gets tired and Jay walks her home and they stop at Arthur’s bench and sit and talk.
“She thanks him for the wedding day and quietly passes away in Jay’s arms while he’s talking to her,” they concluded with a crying emoji.

The pair whispered as across the table from them Lola celebrated, with Billy saying: “She’s dying. Look at her.
“She’s smiling and I don't know how – I wish I could still worry about being in prison.
“While that was going on I didn't have to think about what’s happening and now that’s all I can think about. It’s breaking my heart.”
