Kerry Katona says there is 'no excuse' for 'irresponsible' Kyle Walker's actions
Kerry Katona has slammed Kyle Walker and branded him "irresponsible" over his betrayal of wife Annie Kilner.
Annie confirmed she had separated from her husband before reports emerged that the England footballer was the father of influencer Lauryn Goodman's six-month-old daughter. Lauryn, Kyle and Annie had all previously confirmed that the footballing ace was the father of the influencer's son Kairo, three.
Kyle's wife, who he shares three sons with and is currently expecting a fourth, forgave the indiscretion, which resulted in Kairo being conceived, but left her husband when Lauryn messaged her at Christmas to confirm the paternity of her youngest child. In her latest column for OK!, Kerry hit out at Kyle for his behaviour.
She said: "I’ve been reading about all of this drama between footballer Kyle Walker, his wife Annie Kilner and influencer Lauryn Goodman and I think it’s awful. I hate it when there are children involved in these things because it’s unfair to them."

I know we don’t know the full story, but I don’t understand what he was telling Lauryn to make her think he wasn’t cheating on his wife. I just feel sorry for the children."

In April 2019, Kyle and Annie split after Ex On The Beach Laura Brown claimed the pair had romped in the back of his car. During their split, Kyle enjoyed a brief fling with Lauryn, which saw her fall pregnant with their son in July.
Annie and Kyle reunited and tied the knot in November 2021. The latest revelation has destroyed the footballer's marriage as Lauryn claimed she and Kyle rekindled their fling after meeting for legal reasons to discuss their son.
Last week, the football star publicly apologised for his infidelity, writing: “Annie is an amazing woman and I can only apologise for the upset I’ve caused her. She’s been part of my life for so long and that will never change for the sake of our children.”
His words came after his estranged wife wrote on Instagram: “Sadly, after many years of marriage and three wonderful children together, I have decided to take some time away from Kyle. I do not wish to comment on the position any further.”
Lauryn, who previously revealed that she told Annie the truth so that they could all "live their lives like adults" has now taken her two children away for a break and recently admitted on Instagram that she's "not coping well" amid the drama. Lauryn wrote: "I am typing this in tears and breaking down in front of my children. I've addressed everything that's been said this week and apologised to Annie [Kyle's wife]. I've gone away with my children as this week has been so difficult to cope with."
