Ayda Field worried fans as she posted photos from A&E

Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field was last night rushed to hospital as she details her ordeal.

Ayda took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to explain to her fans about the medical dash as she uploaded a picture of herself attached to a drip and a heart monitor. Looking glum on the bed, actress told her million followers about the abrupt end to her night.

Alongside the photo, the former X Factor judge wrote: "After a picture perfect evening, a less than picture perfect ending." She stopped short of explaining why she was admitted and didn't elaborate further on the reason for her hospital visit.

But struggling Ayda did says her husband of 14 years was a huge help, added: "Thanks to my amazing hubby Robbie Williams being by my side." The mum-of-four, 44, was wearing a grey tracksuit and later confirmed she was on the mend, writing: "Back now and resting."

Just hours before Ayda was taken to hospital, she shared a glamorous photo of her and Robbie, 49, as they headed out on a date night. It's unclear where the couple, who first met in 2006, were heading, but Ayda said they were ready for a "night under the stars".

The model sported an incredible gold and silver sequinned gown, paired with statement earrings and a quirky clutch bag, which resembled a UFO. She wore her brunette locks swept over to one side in bouncy curls, with smokey eyeshadow and small gems under her eyebrows.

Robbie looked dapper in a grey suit complete with subtle sparkly details. The singer wore eye-catching metallic shoes, along with a black velvet tie and silver brooch and captioned his photo of them both glammed up: "A night under the stars with my galaxy partner."

The couple were inundated with compliments from their fans and celebrity pals. One person said: "Omg, you two look amazeballs!" while a second penned: "Stunners!! U both look better than ever before! Wowza!" A third commented: "You two clean up real nice," with a lovestruck emoji.
