Spice Girls and Holly Willoughby rush to celebrate Emma Bunton as she turns 48
Emma Bunton has celebrated her 48th birthday with plenty of messages of love being sent by her Spice Girls bandmates and celebrity friends.
The singer, who is known as Baby Spice from her time in the all-girl group that dominated the pop charts from the mid-nineties, was flooded with messages and throwback photos as her nearest and dearest shared happy memories of her. Among those who wished Emma happy birthday were ITV presenter Holly Willoughby and Spice Girls bandmate, Victoria Beckham, who was known as Posh Spice during the height of the band's fame.
Fashion designer Victoria, 49, shared a photo of her with Emma during their time in Spice Girls, adding the comment "Kisses xxx" to the post, while Holly, who returned to ITV screens last week when she hosted Dancing On Ice after quitting her role on This Morning, shared a photo of the pair together as she cuddled Emma along with the caption: "love you long time."

In the photo, they were joined by former All Saints singer Nicola Appleton, TV presenter Christine Lampard, music talent manager Shiarra Bell and PR expert Niki de Metz. Holly posted a photo of them all, with the caption: ''Happiest of birthdays Baby! Wishing a very happy (early) birthday… love ya!"
Among others who reached out on Emma's birthday were her fellow Spice Girls, Geri Horner and Melanie C. Geri shared a number of snaps of her with Emma, which she captioned: "Happy birthday! Darling @emmaleebunton. Wishing you so much love. Have a fantastic day!" Meanwhile, Mel C had written a positive post in praise of Emma, in which she shared: "Happy Birthday baby! @emmaleebunton. I love you with all of my heart, thank you for the incredible memories you continue to create with me on and off stage. You are my dearest friend, biggest supporter and best cuddler in the world. I hope your day is as beautiful as you are."

On her birthday, Emma took to Instagram to share with her followers what she will be doing on her big day. The singer said that she was having a staycation with her husband Jade Jones and she posted a number of images from her day so far. The day started with some dancing on her bed before breakfast that involved a slice of cake. There was an opportunity after that for some fresh air, with Emma getting the chance to share a kiss with her husband,.
