Taylor Swift set for awkward meeting with Jason Kelce's wife at NFL playoff game

Taylor Swift could be in for an 'awkward' day. She is set to meet the wife of Jason Kelce, Kylie, with whom she's so far had a rocky relationship with, for the first time ahead of Travis Kelce's big playoff game in Buffalo.

Travis' American football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, are hoping to get through to a second Super Bowl, but first they must beat their foes in Buffalo. While this is happening, pop star Taylor will be having a fascinating afternoon, as she'll likely be sitting with Jason, Travis' older brother and his wife, Kylie.

It also seems that Taylor and Kylie did not get off on the best foot. Life&Style magazine claims Taylor's meeting with the Kelce family was a bit rocky.

When interviewing on Jason and Travis' New Heights podcast, Kylie stated "The spotlight is not particularly my cup of tea". She prefers to keep a low profile at games, avoiding luxury boxes to stay grounded in the stands.

But an insider from the magazine said: "Taylor took that personally and since then it's been very awkward. Taylor understands that it can be exhausting, but she can't help that everything she does becomes front-page news."

Despite spending the past two months with Travis, Swift will now finally meet Jason and Kylie after the former's NFL season ended last weekend when the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jason, who is likely to retire after a 13-year career, has hinted that he will support his younger brother. There are multiple reports suggesting that he and his wife will travel from Philadelphia to Buffalo.

Kylie prefers to watch from the stands, but the chilly weather in Buffalo, which is expected to be around -5 at kickoff time, might change her mind. Swift could continue to cheer for Travis throughout the playoffs, but it's almost certain she won't be at the Super Bowl due to her Eras tour in Tokyo.
