If you have ever dreamed of looking out over the battlements of your own private castle, complete with tower, now is your chance - for only £120,000.

This one-bedroom miniature castle comes with its own tiny turret and gothic interior and is hitting the market for a decidedly un-princely sum. The cute castle is Grade II Listed and dates back to the 1800s with exposed wooden beams and even a four-poster bed fit for (minor) royalty.

A large living room takes up much of the ground floor and pictures show a chunky brick-built fireplace with comfy-looking old chesterfield sofas and a decidedly throne-like armchair in one corner. In the kitchen the owners have left out the traditional pig roasting on a spit and massive bubbling cauldrons for more modern setup, with a washing machine, fridge and no scullery maids in sight.

The quirky property also features its own miniature banqueting hall, with a dining table squeezed in at the foot of the narrow winding staircase that leads up to the first floor.

Upstairs there is one double bedroom, complete with an impressively regal four-poster bed, with its own canopy and another open fireplace in the bedroom. The first floor also comes with an en-suite bathroom.
