Incest monster Josef Fritzl 'visited in Austrian prison by his secret lovechild'

Evil Josef Fritzl was visited in jail by a man who claimed to be his secret son, according to reports.

The infamous paedophile, 88, was jailed for life in 2009 after admitting keeping his daughter Elisabeth locked in the cellar as his sex slave for 24 years. During her ordeal hidden below the family home in Amstetten, in the state of Lower Austria, fiend Fritzl fathered seven children with her. A local media organisation in Austria reported Fritzl was visited by a man who claimed his mother had an affair with the monster and he was his son.

A justice official told the Sun : “Yes, this person exists. There has been a visit. That claim in the Kronen Zeitung is accurate.

"It is possible he is his son, who knows? We'll have to wait and see what happens next."

The vile rapist disgusted the world when his shocking crimes came to light but a new psychiatric report ruled Fritzl is no longer a threat to the general public. The report could mean he is moved from a high security prison in . Local media have reported he seems confused, regularly talks to the television and thinks he is a pop star. It has also been claimed he speaks of visits from relatives which never happened.

His daughter Elisabeth is not believed to have had any contact with him since he was jailed and now lives in an unknown part of Austria with the children conceived during the rapes. He changed his name to Mayrhoff after his teeth were kicked out by other inmates at Garsten Abbey, a former monastery converted into a secure psychiatric unit. Under the terms of his sentence, Frizl will be eligible for parole this year.

And that seems likely now after a new psychiatric report into the state of his mind says that the cellar monster is no longer dangerous. The report says he can barely walk and needs a walking frame to get around. They say he could not pose a serious threat to either his old or new victims.

This week Fritzl's lawyer Astrid Wagner claimed she wouldn't be afraid to live with her client herself as he has no sex drive. She went on to say he keeps himself isolated from others, and only speaks to her and his friend Alfred U, a cannibal murderer jailed for life in 2019 for dismembering a Hungarian prostitute and making goulash from her body parts.

Ms Wagner - who also represented Alfred U - told German newspaper : "Fritzl is completely harmless today. I wouldn't be afraid to move into a shared apartment with him or live in a home with him. He has no sex drive anymore. He barricades himself in his solitary cell, watches a lot of TV, grows tomatoes, writes about his life as an electrical engineer. He sunbathes through the bars, does gymnastics, cares a lot about his figure and wants to live to be 100."
