Ex-Liverpool star Divock Origi is being eyed by three Major League Soccer clubs after struggling to to find form at Nottingham Forest, while on loan from AC Milan.

The forward has failed to find the back of the net since his return to the Premier League, with another move potentially on the cards for the Belgian international. According to Tom Bogert of The Athletic, Origi has been offered to MLS clubs, with LAFC, Cincinnati and Dallas showing the most interest, as per Italy's Sky Sport.

Despite only starting two of nine games at the City Ground, a move to the US could be just what he needs to reignite his career. His time at Nottingham Forest has been a stark contrast to his glory days at Liverpool, where he became a bona fide club legend over eight years at the club.

The striker had a knack for scoring crucial goals while in Merseyside, becoming a true fan favourite on Anfield's famous Kop. Among his memorable moments for the Reds are a last-minute goal against local rivals Everton, and key late strikes against Newcastle United and Wolves.

His most celebrated contributions came during Liverpool's victorious 2019 Champions League campaign, however. Before his iconic goal in the final against Tottenham in Madrid, he scored one of the most audacious goals in the competition's history in the semi-finals.

Liverpool needed four goals to progress in the second leg against Barcelona, but left Lionel Messi and his team stunned by completing the comeback. On one of Anfield's most unforgettable nights, Origi scored the opener and the decisive goal from a quick corner taken by Trent Alexander-Arnold, sparking wild celebrations.

Reflecting on the low point of his club career as Barcelona were knocked out, Messi confessed the match gave him sleepless nights. Later, in an interview with FIFA.com he admitted: "It was strange. We were having a fantastic season as a team and then one match changed it all.

"That's how big a blow it was for us," he continued, with his abject disappointment clearly palpable. "That one game left its mark on a season that had been perfect up to then. We were so close to making another Champions League final, but it ended up being a painful campaign for us."

He also addressed the low point of his club career during an interview with RAC1 ahead of the premiere of the show 'Messi10 by Cirque du Soleil'. He confessed: "The defeat against Liverpool was our fault. What happened to us in that match, can not. We blocked ourselves.

"The Rome thing happened to us. It didn't happen because of a thing with the coach," he continued as he alluded to the scenes within the Barcelona dressing room at Anfield before Liverpool secured their famous comeback.
