The Voice UK are said to be signing up a major singer to replace Olly Murs on the show.

It comes after both Olly and Anne-Marie were axed by the ITV programme in a major shake-up, leaving two spinning seats alongside Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am empty for new stars. Reports claim that LeAnn Rimes Cibrian is in talks to join the programme and she's already dropped a huge hint about it.

LeAnne, 41, took to Instagram to reveal she was heading to Manchester, where The Voice is filmed in MediaCity UK's Dock 10 studios. Lifeted Entertainment, the production company behind The Voice is also based at MediaCity. In recent months, the Grammy Award-winning songstress has spent several weeks in the UK and even has a huge concert at London's O2 Arena later this year.

"LeAnn is meeting with ITV about possibly joining The Voice UK as a coach," a source said. They went on to add to The Sun : "It's very early days but they think they could carve up a good deal. LeAnn is an incredible talent and her record of awards and record sales speak for themselves.

"ITV thinks she would make an incredible coach and LeAnn is excited to see if she can make it work with her schedule." LeAnn is no stranger to television, having starred in a reality show with her actor-husband, Eddie Dibrian, titled LeAnn & Eddie, which was to clear the air about their relationship.

The couple became romantically involved when LeAnn was married to her first husband, Dean Sheremet, which she later took responsibility for. "This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe," she said of the show before it was cancelled after one season.

Over the course of her career, since the age of 13, LeAnn has starred in several movies as well as television shows. She's also had 40 singles making the official charts and becoming one of the biggest names in music. Last year, it was announced that Olly would be leaving the show after six years, leaving him "gutted and shocked" but he told fans the decision was entirely his.

Speaking at the time, he told The Sun: "I'm gutted. I got the call last week to say I won't be back on the show, and it's a bit of a shock, to be honest. I didn't really expect that to come... I don't want to bulls**t my fans or bulls**t people who watch the show and say, 'Oh, it was an amicable decision to leave — I've got lots of things on next year, I can't do it any more. Did I want to leave? No."

An ITV spokesperson said: "We will be confirming the lineup for The Voice UK 2024 in due course."

The Mirror has approached LeAnn Rimes Cibrian for comment.
