1000lb Sisters star Amy Slaton has admitted she still suffers from low self esteem despite her incredible weight loss.
The reality TV star has shed over 176lbs since her weight loss journey began but she admitted that hasn't stopped her feelings of low self-esteem from still being prominent. Taking to TikTok to answer a question from fans, she clarified why it is she heavily filters her social media content.
Amy, 36, was quizzed on why it is she uses filters by one follower and she responded with a video clip of white text on a black background to explain the situation. She wrote: "Why do I use filters? Because it helps my low self esteem. Because it's not hurting you or anyone else."

Fans then rushed to the comments section to show their support for her as they encouraged her to feel more confident in her incredible loss of weight.

One wrote: "Just be you! You're amazing just the way you are." A second said: "Amy you don't need filters you are absolutely beautiful inside and out, ignore the negative trolls, you keep being you." A third praised her: "You are so beautiful Amy no matter what. You're the greatest."
A fourth social media user posted: "Girl you are awesome don't ever let anybody tell you otherwise." A fifth offered: "You don't need any filters, you're so beautiful, if only you could see yourself through our eyes."

The reality TV star uploaded a post to her TikTok page on New Years Eve where she admitted that her relationship had come to an end. Posting a sad looking selfie with a count down clock, she admitted her devastation at the end of their romance to her fans.
She wrote: "Broken heart on New Year's Eve! Single for the New Year though!!!!" Amy posted the clip to the sad tune of Love Is Gone by Dylan Mathew and SLANDER to express her sadness. Amy then posted a further video begging her fans to respect her privacy as she pleaded with them to also leave ex-boyfriend Tony alone. She wrote: "Please respect me and Tony's privacy and please don't send hate!!!! We're still friends."
