Trump's bloody red hands 'are syphilis' says ex-Clinton advisor in wild claim
As former president Donald Trump waved to reporters and people gathered outside his New York home to head to court, many focused on a series of strange red marks on his hands instead.
At least three red marks were clearly visible on his thumb, palm and index finger, sparking fierce debate about what they could be, and what it could mean for the health of the 77-year-old Republican frontrunner. One of the rumours circulating is that these unknown marks could be an indication that the former president has syphilis, an unverified claim former Bill Clinton advisor James Carville has spoken about.
Speaking on Politicon, the former advisor made a wild and unverified claim that the marks on Trump's hands are a sign of syphilis. Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) most commonly characterised by the presence of sores.

They look like sores. And I've asked a number of MDs (doctors), what medical condition manifests itself through hand sores and the answer is immediate and unanimous - secondary syphilis."

Syphilis has four stages; primary, secondary, latent, and tertiary, each with different signs and symptoms. The main symptoms of secondary-stage syphilis are skin rashes and/or sores in the mouth or around the genitals, as well as a rash on the palms of your hands and/or the bottoms of your feet.
"I think there's a good chance this man has the clap," claimed Mr Carville. "I'm not being particularly secretive about it, I'm texting the photo, you can link to it... maybe the picture was doctored or whatever? Maybe the story will go somewhere, maybe it won't."
It's worth noting that 'the clap' is the nickname for gonorrhoea, not syphilis. But, that didn't deter the former top Democrat, who chuckled: "I'm telling you at one o'clock eastern I'm humping this thing like a young dog on old furniture."
Images of Trump leaving Trump Tower were captured by the Daily Mail hours after he braved a the Arctic conditions gripping much of the US to speak to supporters alongside former Republican hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy, who suspended his campaign after a disappointing finish in the Iowa caucuses.
"There is no path for me to be the next president absent things that we don't want to see happen in this country," Mr Ramaswamy told supporters in Iowa on Monday. He added he had spoken to Trump and planned to support the Republican frontrunner and campaign for him.

Taking a closer look at Trump's opponents, Mr Carville said: "DeSantis is almost a laughing stock now."
Adding: "Nikki Haley is, she's helium-like, she's a real featherweight. She looked decent on paper, DeSantis looked even better on paper, and they just had nothing."
He speculated that the "third party is going to get a lot of f**king votes in 2024", unless "something really changes". But he admitted: "It's hard for me to see the change."

On Tuesday, the outspoken anti-vaxxer, announced he had died paperwork to create his own political party in six states in an attempt to get his name on the ballot with fewer voter signatures than would be required for an unaffiliated candidate.
The environmental lawyer who has promoted conspiracy theories is looking to form a 'We the People' party in California, Delaware, Hawaii, Mississippi and North Carolina, along with the 'Texas Independent Party'. So far, Mr Kennedy has only confirmed a spot on the ballot in one state - Utah.

He originally challenged President Biden to be selected for the Democratic nomination, however, he left the Democratic primaries in October to run as an independent. If he is successful in his attempt to form a new party in the six states it would reduce the number of signatures he needed to get on the ballot in all 50 states by 330,000 - around a third of the previous total.
