Georgia "Toff" Toffolo has admitted she will be "disappointed" if her political pals fail to back her new campaign.

The former Made in Chelsea star, 29, descended upon Westminster Parliament Square with some furry friends on Thursday morning, as the Queen of the Jungle launched her mission to take on what she calls 'Big Kibble'.

Georgia has started a campaign to remove glycotoxins, also known as AGEs, from dry dog food in a bid to protect canines across the UK from their harmful effects. The TV star admitted to being slightly scared of taking on big businesses but said she's determined to speak up for our beloved dogs.

The founder of raw food brand Wild Pack is aiming for a Parliament debate through her "pawtition" for Real Petfood and Georgia confesses she is expecting her famous Tory pals to help expose a multimillion-pound dog food industry "conspiracy". Speaking to the Mirror on Wednesday before hitting up Parliament Square with her pups, Georgia admitted she hadn't "leveraged her political network yet" but was expecting some support.

"I was umming and ahhing about launching this campaign," the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star confessed. "There's a reason why people have shied away from it because, I mean, it's like a 'Big Kibble' conspiracy. We've been sold this huge lie by the Big Kibble companies, and it does take someone quite strong minded to take them on, and I do feel like I am best placed to do it, but it doesn't mean to say that I'm not nervous, but I think because I feel it's so important to get this message out there for our dogs I'm like 'right, that's the goal, we're pressing on!'"

Georgia has made no secret about where her political allegiances lie since becoming a household name, previously branding Tory MP Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg, 54, "a sex god" and forging a close friendship with Boris Johnson's father Stanley during their time in the jungle in 2017. And now the star is hoping her support for the Conservative Party will help her on her mission to change things for the sake of all dogs across the country. "I chose the location intentionally," the reality TV star explained on Wednesday. "I'm nervous and I haven't used any of my political contacts yet."

She continued: "The only thing that I've done politically is choose that location [Parliament Square]. So I'm sort of hoping that anyone political that may walk past might be interested and get on board. I haven't leveraged my network as such yet, but I'm sort of hoping [they support me].

"I have been politically engaged [for years] but I've never done anything vocal like this before, so I would be very disappointed if Westminster in general completely ignored it." But what if politicians and the government do ignore her? "I think if that does happen, I think I'll just have to get louder," Georgia declared. "I hope this will project to Westminster that I do mean business on this and I'm not gonna stop until we get somewhere."

Georgia founded her dog food subscription service three years ago when her beloved pet dog Monty fell ill. After a vet advised switching up Monty's diet, Georgia put her pup on a raw food diet and noticed a significant improvement in his health. Now, Georgia is ready to expose Big Kibble and help more dogs lead happier and healthier lives.

"The global pet food market was valued at $118.9 billion in 2022, and yet it's a tiny handful of parent companies who benefit from that share," says Georgia. She believes there's a monopoly in the pet food industry that needs to be exposed. "Just like in other industries, there's a shadowy monopoly in the pet food space that has a grip on consumers, and I feel that Big Kibble being exposed is long overdue. We're increasingly focused on the way that ultra-processed food impacts humans, but aren't giving that same care and attention to our dogs' carnivorous digestive systems precisely because these businesses have told us for decades that the food they're manufacturing is science-backed and safe."

"It's time they got real with dog owners about what exactly is in their food, and the potential harm it can cause to animals. This isn't about getting dogs all over the country to start eating Wild Pack. This is so much bigger than just my business: it's about us sticking up for our dogs, who stick by our sides through thick and thin."

Georgia has the support of Anna Webb, a dog nutritionist and behaviour expert. "I've been banging this drum for decades now, and it's shocking that Big Kibble is still getting away with bamboozling dog owners," says Anna, who is part of the Real Petfood campaign and supports Georgia's claims.

"The low moisture content of kibble puts dogs in a near-constant state of dehydration. Dogs are physiologically over 70% water, like us, so dehydration can be very dangerous. It promotes symptoms from a lack of appetite and lethargy to a dry nose and perhaps most seriously, it puts pressure on the kidneys. Interestingly, 1 in 10 dogs suffer from kidney disease. I'm really pleased to lend my voice to this important campaign. It's time we said enough is enough!"
