Jake Cornish's parting words to Liberty Poole as he quits Love Island
Love Island's Jake Cornish's final words before quitting the villa have been revealed.
Jake walked from the ITV show after spending just three days alongside his fellow singletons after the public voted for him to couple up with his ex, Liberty Poole. When host Maya Jama confirmed the news, an angry Jake commented: "I knew it." He later went on to say: "I don't hate the girl." Upon seeing Liberty entering the villa, he said: "What are the chances," before saying that there was no bad blood between the former flames.
It's claimed he was unhappy when none of the female Islanders stepped forward for him – leading him to decide he was no longer on the hunt for love.

"Everyone can we go to the fire pit for a minute," he said, before continuing: "I was here to find love and there is no one here I have that connection with. I just want to let you all know I am going tonight."
Stunned by the revelation, Georgia Harrison gushed: "We all support you, we love you!" But before Jake leaves South Africa to return to England, he pulls Liberty aside for a private chat. He also shares a chat with host Maya Jama about his decision.

Viewers have since taken to social media to share their views on why Jake may have decided to walk away. One said: "Not Liberty saying Jake gives her the ick because of his foot fetish." Another added: "Jake heard Liberty say he gives her the ick and left." Someone else commented: "Lib saying Jake gives her the ick because of the foot fetish."

Jake admitted to his co-stars that he was "struggling" in the villa. Talking to his fellow male Islanders about his time so far, Jake said: "I'll be brutally honest with you, I'm finding it a bit... I'm struggling to be honest with you. I'm probably a bit picky!"
Speaking just hours after his exit, a source told The Sun: "Jake was really shocked to see Liberty in the villa - they had no idea the other person would be there. It was clear from the start they wouldn't get back together, then none of the girls wanted to step forward for him. Jake had a nice three days in the villa and had a very emotional chat to Maya Jama." They added that Jake knew he "couldn't stay" before deciding to quit.
