Zara and Mike Tindall most certainly have a massive cause for celebration today.

That's because their oldest daughter Mia reaches double figures and celebrates her 10th birthday. King Charles' niece Zara and her former rugby player husband Mike are also parents to another daughter Lena, aged five, and Lucas, who is almost three. Of course, the children's grandmother is the King's trusted lieutenant Princess Anne, with the monarch himself said to be fond of his niece and her family. Meanwhile, it is also clear to see just how close the Tindalls are to the Prince and Princess of Wales and their three children.

In fact, on Christmas Day, Mia sweetly held hands with Prince Louis on the royals' annual walk to church in Sandringham and then joined Princess Charlotte as they politely collected flowers from wellwishers. But despite Mia's impressive royal connections and being 22nd in line to the throne, like her mum and her siblings, she doesn't have a royal title - and it all dates back to a move by her grandmother more than 40 years ago. It came when Anne, the only daughter of the late Queen, gave birth to her first child, her son Peter Phillips, back in 1977.

At the time, she decided that he would not receive HRH status or a royal title, and the same went for Zara when she was born several years later in 1981. And because she did not receive a title, this has also extended to Mia, Lena and Lucas, as well as Peter's daughters Savannah, 13, and Isla, 11.

Recently, Zara opened up about the fact her mother decided not to give her title and praised her decision. Speaking on the Seven podcast with inspirational fund-raiser and Rugby League legend Rob Burrow, she was asked what advice she would give to her seven-year-old self.

And she said: "From my point of view, I was obviously very lucky that my mother didn't give us any titles so I really commend her on that. We were very lucky that we got to do it a bit our own way. My family has a great work ethic as well which I'm hoping they instilled in me and is still going to this day."

Zara and Mike have recently returned from their annual trip to Australia for the Magic Millions equestrian event, of which Zara is an ambassador. While away, the pair enjoyed a day out at the beach, where they were joined by Prince Harry's best pal and his wife.

Nacho Figueras, who is dubbed the David Beckham of polo, and is one of Harry's closest pals, joined Zara and Mike in Byron Bay, Australia, where they relaxed at the beach. They were joined by Nacho's wife Delfina Blaquier, with the two couples, all wearing swimwear seen enjoying a stroll along the sand after a cooling dip in the sea. Nacho, who plays polo with Harry, is also believed to be a good friend of Zara and Mike, with him often pictured in the couple during their annual trip Down Under in January.
