Love Island's Georgia calls out Anton's 'nasty' joke as prank backfires

Love Island All Stars took an awkward turn on Tuesday night when Georgia Harrison's prank on Anton Danyluk during a game backfired.

During the latest episode, the Islanders had to take part in a game called Champagne Dares. For Georgia H's, 29, dare she was challenged to "yawn in the face of the Islander you think is most boring" to which she revealed she was picking Anton, 29.

Explaining her reason, Georgia H admitted: "Just because I think you can take it!" but things soon took an awkward turn when Anton responded over the yawn: "Just for reference, you could have used a breath spray, just saying!"

Georgia H was left confused as she replied: "That's not true!" with Anton quickly adding: "I'm joking, I'm joking, sorry, that was uncalled for!" However, Georgia H wasn't impressed as she pointed out: "That's really nasty!" while Anton defended his joke with: "You just called me boring!"

Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were quick to react to the scenes. One person said: "“You could’ve used the breath spray” ANTON OMG #LoveIsland", a different account put: "Anton the breath mint comment was outta pocket #Loveisland" while another viewer wrote: "Omg Anton is so childish #LoveIsland!"

It comes as Love Island All Stars looks set for emotional scenes on Wednesday night as a first look teaser on Tuesday showed Jake Cornish's teary exit. It was claimed earlier on Tuesday that Jake, 26, had reportedly decided to walk away from the villa, despite being there for just three days.

Anton responded over the yawn: "Just for reference, you could have used a breath spray, just saying!" (ITV)

On Monday, viewers discovered the results of the public vote which saw him coupling up with his ex-girlfriend Liberty Poole and on Tuesday, the duo insisted that there is no "bad blood" between them as they have both "moved on".

However, at the end of Tuesday's episode in a first look teaser of Wednesday's show, Love Island showed an emotional clip of Jake's teary exit. It sees Jake summon his fellow Islanders to the fire pit, where he says: "Everyone, go to the fire pit for a minute!" and after everyone is seated, he adds: "I'm going, tonight!"

Jake's fellow Islanders look on in shock at the announcement while his ex Liberty is seen in tears. The clip ends with Jake seated down in what appears to be an interview with host Maya Jama no doubt to talk about his reasons for leaving.
