Emmy Award-winning star Jeremy Allen White shared a heartwarming acceptance speech as he thanked his loved ones for "believing in him" when he "didn't believe in himself" following his shock divorce last year.

During the 75th annual award show, the 32-year-old actor grew emotional as he was presented with the prestigious trophy for Lead Actor Comedy Series for his famous role as Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto in The Bear. In the hit drama series Jeremy stars as a passionate, hot-headed fine dining chef running a Chicago sandwich shop that was previously owned by his late brother.

As he took the stage to accept the coveted award, the star gave a special shoutout to his loved ones for sticking by his side during difficult year as he went through a divorce with his ex-wife Addison Timlin. In the speech, Jeremy humbly said: "I am so proud, I am so full of gratitude, to be standing in front of you all," and continued: "Thank you to all those who stayed close to me, especially this past year. Thank you for believing in me when I had trouble believing in myself."

Jeremy's vulnerable acceptance speech comes as the actor's ex-wife Addison filed for divorce from him after sharing three years of marriage together after being by each others side since they were teenagers. In an interview with British GQ, Jeremey reflected on his 2023 and said: "It’s been insane. A lot of high highs, a lot of terribly low lows."

The reason for the breakdown of their love still remains unclear, but the former couple continue to co-parent together as they share young two daughters including their four-year-old Ezer and two-year-old Dolores. According to a source quoted by ET, Addison and White "were having trust issues during their relationship that ultimately led to their divorce." The insider added: "They were attempting to work things out, but things became increasingly difficult for them, and they decided to split."

But it seems that Jeremy might be ready for love again as he sparked romance rumors with Spanish singer Rosalía as the pair have been spotted shopping at a farmers market and grabbing a romantic dinner together in recent weeks. Although neither stars have commented about the nature of their relationship, a source revealed to US Weekly: "They started out as just friends, but things have turned romantic recently.”
