Love Island star Demi Jones is one of the many famous faces that returned to the villa to find love on the All Stars spin-off.

The media personality rose to fame after appearing on series six of the show and came third alongside Luke Mabbott. And now, the reality star is focused on a second chance as she was coupled up with series five star Chris Taylor - who recently shocked fans with his cameo in the Barbie movie.

The original Love Island series has people spending days (and sometimes weeks) in the villa in hopes of winning the show. Many have asked how much the contestants earn as they spend a long time away from their jobs. Demi previously revealed how much the stars earned.

Taking to TikTok to answer fan questions, Demi said: "Yes, you do get paid to go on the show. I personally got paid £250 a week. This is obviously to cover all your bills at home because you could have a flat, you could have a car to pay for, all the things like that.

“So obviously Love Island want to make sure that’s all covered for you so you don’t get into any financial difficulties while you’re like away on holiday. So, yeah I got £250 a week. I don’t know if that’s the same now but that’s what I got paid when I was on Winter Love Island and obviously, you can make up for any losses if you work hard when you come out.”

Joining the All Stars series in South Africa this year are Georgia Harrison, Toby Aromolaran, Kaz Kamwi, Chris, Georgia Steel, Anton Danyluk, Hannah Elizabeth, Jake Cornish, Demi, Luis Morrison, Liberty Poole and Mitchel Taylor. The first instalment of the special spin-off series saw returning host Maya Jama make a glamorous entrance while the first All Star couples were formed thanks to a public vote before the first episode kicked off.

During the coupling, it was revealed that Demi and Chris had been paired together. Chris said of being paired together: "We've got the same personality!" while Demi added: "We've got a similar personality! I think people have paired it on that, so yeah, cute!"

Before the recoupling, Demi revealed to the girls that Chris had previously slid into her DMs. The Islander said of why she didn't pick Chris when host Maya held a pre-coupling at the start of the episode: "I initially went for Chris because I just like his personality. So now, I don't know if I should speak to Chris and say: 'Just to let you know, I was going to stand up but I got really nervous.'

"The only thing is, Chris actually slid into my DMs a little while ago, I hate texting, I'm like a meet-up person, so I never explored it and then obviously now I've seen him properly for the first time now. So I'm like interested to see if that attraction is still there or whether he's not even interested anymore."
