Sky is giving away free Paramount+ to January sale shoppers

Amid Netflix price rises and new Disney+ tariffs watching your favourite blockbuster movie or binge-worthy TV series can feel like an expensive pastime these days. That's up until now, as Sky is handing out Paramount+ for free when you add a particular Sky Stream bundle to the checkout.

You won't have to pay a penny for the Paramount+ streaming site, a freebie that will end up saving you a massive £125 across the full 18-month plan. As Sky cuts the usual £6.99 a month streaming rate.

The exact plan to pick in its latest round-up of 2024 January sales is its Sky Stream, Cinema and Netflix bundle, where'll you get streaming to Paramount+ for no pennies at all, while a basic Netflix subscription is included in the total cost.

In total it'll cost you £26 a month, if you lock into the 18-month deal, although users can pick the £29 a month option if you want a 31-day rolling contract - and you can leave at the end of each month penalty-free. This is one we'd recommend so you can leave penalty-free, you never know when a better deal will pop up.

Sky Stream is the provider's tiny top set box that can transform any brand of TV into a smart device, giving you access to a host of channels. It's the same tech that's integrated into the high-end Sky Glass sets, but a cheaper option for viewers.

A Sky Cinema package will give you access to a whole host of Sky Original films, as well as the massive range of hit shows and movies on Paramount+ at no extra cost. This means you'll be able to enjoy hundreds of Hollywood films like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Scream for no added cost.

It's not the only huge saving knocking around at Sky either, broadband shoppers are currently able to cut their yearly bill by as much as £288 on its Gigafast broadband plan, while Sky's Ultrafast+ package comes with a £180 saving.
