Fans of the cult British retailer Boots have been raving about a 'miracle' night cream that leaves them 'looking younger' causing them to ditch their more expensive Clarins night cream in favour of one that's only £7.50 - if you have an advantage card. NIVEA's Q10 Power 60+ Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream Moisturiser retails at £14.99 usually, but regular Boots shoppers can make use of their membership card to get 50% off.

With a key ingredient being argan oil, the cream is a godsend for those with dry to very dry skin as it moisturises your skin intensly - which in this harsh winter weather is essential - whilst the Q10 aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promote Collagen production to help maintain skin elasticity - 'fighting ageing' within a matter of weeks.

Although it's formulated specifically for those over the age of 60, beauty buffs of all ages love the cream for leaving their skin 'soft and silky' and for making them look years younger.

With over 100 glowing reviews (the majority of which are five star), the cream has been hailed as a 'miracle' worker that's better than Clarins - which will set you back more than £50 (depending on which product).

One skincare lover who has recently returned to Nivea after trying out a variety of different creams said: "I have recently gone back to the nivea range of face creams. They are the best - so rich and smooth. My dry skin is very much improved and no dry flakes on my eyes anymore. Not bad for a 70 year old."

Another marvelled at the cream for being a 'game changer' and wrote: "Really good stuff. Nivea was the first face cream I ever used and over time I’ve used many others but this night cream is a game changer and definitely does what it says on the label."

A third, who lead her five star review by simply saying 'I'm impressed' gushed about the product and said: "I have been using Clarins Super Restorative night cream for a number of years but have been struggling to justify the cost of £79! I read an article about this Nivea cream and decided to give it a go especially as it was half price! Well, I am soooo pleased I did and the improvement in my skin has been wonderful. The cream is beautifully scented and though at first seems a little greasy the trick is to use sparingly and massage in well. In the morning my skin is beautifully soft and then improves even more with the use of the complimenting day cream."

Some shoppers have given mixed reviews over the texture and weight of the cream, with a number stating that it was "greasy" and "too heavy", however, others - who have commented on it - liked the fact that it soon absorbed into their skin and left them with a clear and supple complexion. Plus, with a number citing how it made them feel like they were having a 'pamper', we can see why it's so popular.

For a number of Boots fans, however, this cream didn't quite work for them and one explained how it irritated their skin - so we've taken a look at a few alternatives that'll give you hydrated and happy skin. Weleda Skin Food is made up of essential oils and natural organic plant-based ingredients to leave your skin well nourished and protected from drying out. For a night cream that target wrinkles just like Nivea, Skin + Me's clinical anti-ageing collagen boosting cream is £29.99 while Beauty Pie's Super Healthy Skin™ Ultimate Anti-Aging Cream is £19. One skincare buff who used it said: "I've tried so many anti-aging creams but this is the only one that truly moisturises without being too heavy and greasy. My skin can get dry and dull so this keeps it on an even keel."
