The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's children are poised for a "laid-back" upbringing

The Sussexes' children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are said to be poised for a "more relaxed and laid-back" in comparison to their Royal cousins, it has been claimed by an expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, stepped down as senior working members of the British Royal Family in 2020. A few months after the couple stepped down, they then moved from Windsor in England to across the pond to the States.

Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child, a son called Archie, in 2019, with their daughter born in the summer of 2021. The couple were settled in Montecito, Santa Barbara by the time Lilibet was born, with the young Princess and her brother Prince Archie having been raised in the sought-after neighborhood ever since.

And now it has seemingly been revealed that the two siblings will have a childhood that's "less restraining", which comes after style expert Bella Hignett spoke to GB News. While chatting to the outlet, the style expert lifted the lid on what the children's fashion and outfits reveal about how they'll grow up.

"Archie and Lilibet will still have to have a modicum of restraint when dressing. But they will be far less formal," she told the network, implying how Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have more "formal" attire when seen out and about.

Ms Hignett then added how the two siblings' less formal lives "will be exacerbated by growing up in California where [the] dress is much more relaxed and laid-back". She went on: "The climate and the fact they won’t have to attend as many formal events means the dress code in general will be more casual."

This comes amid reports that the late Queen was "left furious" over Harry and Meghan's naming of Lilibet. According to Daily Mail writer Robert Hardman's new biography, Charles III: New King, New Court, he penned: "One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been 'as angry as I'd ever seen her' in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter 'Lilibet', the Queen's childhood nickname."
