Fans of Saltburn are flocking to the mansion where the hit film was shot. The stately home, Drayton House, has become a popular tourist spot since it served as one of the filming locations - despite not being open to the public.

The plot follows the journey of Oliver Quick, played by Barry Keoghan, who is struggling to fit in at Oxford University. But he soon forms a connection with aristocrat Felix Catton, played by Jacob Elordi. Felix invites Oliver to his family estate, Saltburn, for a summer that he will never forget.

Seemingly in the hope that a touch of the film's glitz and glamour will rub off on them, Saltburn fanatics are making their way to the home's location in Lowick, Northamptonshire.

Maddie Bowness, a 21-year-old art student, met the film's director, Emerald Fennel, while working at the local pub, the Snooty Fox. After filming wrapped up, Maddie and around 30 other locals were given a tour of Drayton House. She said: "I grew up in the village and it is amazing how much traffic the film has brought to the area. But we got to see the big stately rooms with all the paintings. It was very grand and historically it is a beautiful building."

Jasmine Murray, who visited the Northamptonshire estate after watching the film twice, said she wasn't left "traumatised" like most people and loved the film. The senior dispenser at Specsavers, from Raunds, Northamptonshire, shared: "We looked into the filming locations that were local to us. We only live a 15 to 20 minute drive from the estate. We didn't realise it was there. It was a lovely walk - really scenic. It is a really nice escape from being in built-up areas. I would definitely go back."

Sally-Anne Harrison, was dragged along to the stately home by her daughters who are enormous fans of the scene. They told her to watch the flick, but the mum was not convinced by it. She confessed: "I wasn't a fan at all if I am honest. My children made me watch it with them, it is a well-made film but not for me.

"The scenes didn't bother me at all but I thought the storyline was really predictable. We only live around five miles from the estate and the girls were very excited to go to visit. It was a lot busier than we thought but the weather was nice and you can see the mansion as you walk through the grounds."
