Zara Tindall risked the wrath of Princess Eugenie with a bold comment made to Prince Harry during a wedding service in St George's Chapel.

Her controversial comment to the Duke of Sussex, who was married at Windsor Castle to Meghan Markle just six months before the union of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank was caught and deciphered by a Mirror Online lip-reader. Tindall is believed to have passed comment to Prince Harry regarding the nuptials he delivered, and the "quiet" wedding they were attending at the time.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank married on October 12, 2018, and their service was far from a quiet one with the Duke of Sussex replying to a shock comment from ex-Olympian Tindall. According to a Mirror Online lip reader, she told the 39-year-old prince: "It's very quiet compared to the screaming at your wedding."

In response, the Duke of Sussex could be seen asking: "Mine?". Meghan was also present for the controversial comment, leaning in to hear Tindall's words. Zara had compared the two services at the same hall of worship and said the May 19 wedding of Harry and Meghan was far louder than the service they were in attendance at in October.

Loud cheers and screams from well-wishers were heard in the hall outside the Gothic church at the union of Meghan and Harry, who departed the Royal Family just two years later in March 2020. An 800-strong guestlist at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank were on show at the 2018 reception, 200 more than Meghan and Harry received at theirs, The Mirror reported at the time.

Jack and Eugenie were later seen sharing two kisses after tying the not, and professional lipreader Tina Lannin believes the newlywed bride was the one who initiated the kisses. Appearing before the cameras, Princess Eugenie is believed to have said: "Let's kiss."
