Love Island's Josh Ritchie slammed by famous ex as he 'joins All Stars'

Josh Ritchie's famous ex had a furious rant after he signed up for a reality TV show.

The 29-year-old is rumoured to one of the many former Islanders making a return to the villa in the search for love again. He had originally starred in the original series of the ITV2 dating show where he placed third. There has since been speculation Josh is heading to South Africa for a second chance of love after he has deleted several of his previous Instagram posts.

He had also shared a cryptic post just last week as he posed in front of a private jet. Josh, who had returned to working as a builder, wrote: "Some year it’s been! 2024 let’s go baby! We have goals for this year and I’m not stopping until I hit them all." After leaving the villa the first time, Josh struck up a relationship with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.

The couple dated for two years and Charlotte even made the move to Bolton to be near Josh. However, it wasn't meant to be as the pair split in 2019. Weeks after their break-up Josh decided to have another go at reality TV by signing up to E4 show Celebs Go Dating. His move sparked Charlotte to go on a furious rant on social media.

Posting on Instagram she said: "So bit of a revelation today. I am shocked to say the least but when you are sitting in Dubai and you find out your ex-boyfriend who you didn’t think was like this at all is going on Celebs Go Dating. Not going to lie, but at one point we were on the verge of getting back and I was asked to go on but obviously I said no I would never do that, we have only just finished, we lived together, we were in a two year relationship and it is just wrong.

"And his words to me were ‘do you think I would ever do that’." Charlotte fumed: "And to find out he is doing it, wow, just f***ing wow, that is all I have to say. People must just get with us so that to get opportunities like that. I tell you what, don’t f***ing mention my name once on that show , don’t even f***ing speaking about me, you f***ing little toe rag. It just goes to show really."

During his appearance on the dating show, Josh addressed Charlotte's upset at him taking part. Host Anna Williamson asked if he had seen Charlotte's reaction to his new venture, having seen the stuff herself. Josh said: "I'm aware of it, but I've not seen it. I don’t wanna see it. I feel awful that she's upset and stuff like that, but at the end of the day I’ve got to think about myself. I'm not being selfish.

"My head was all over the place at one point, I was heartbroken and wounded but now you're helping me move on." Once again defending his decision, he added: "There's no going back with the ex, that's how I feel."
