Ranvir Singh has given a rare insight into her romance with her younger Strictly Come Dancing boyfriend.
The Good Morning Britain star, 46, has revealed her boyfriend Louis Church, 28, has moved in with her and her son. She has decided to make the big step in her relationship after meeting Louis during her time on the BBC dance competition in 2020. Louis, who is 18 years younger than Ranvir, has also worked on Soccer Aid and Come Dine With Me.
The couple now live together with Ranvir's 10-year-old son Tushaan, who she shares with her ex-husband Ranjeet Singh Dehal, and her older mother. Ranvir has since given a rare insight into her relationship by sharing how her morning routine has changed since Louis moved in.
She told The Telegraph : "[At 5:30am] I try to talk myself back to sleep but it doesn’t always work. I get up, make a decaf tea and start chopping an onion for a dahl for lunch. My partner Louis is terrible. He always hits snooze every ten minutes – it drives me mad!" She then says the family go on a walk with their dog Shmizzels.
Ranvir admitted her busy TV career has taken a toll on her personal life and Saturdays are "previous" to her as she gets time with her son. She also revealed Louis and Tushaan have a close bond, and they enjoy playing video games together. Ranvir and Louis went public at Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball at London’s O2 Arena.
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourThey met when she was paired with Giovanni Pernice on Strictly, a year after she divorced from her husband. She was eliminated from the competition just a week before the final. It's believed that her boyfriend Louis was a production secretary back in 2020. Just one year after they met one another, Ranvir made their relationship official and gushed over her new beau.
Ranvir tied the knot with Ranjeet Singh Dehal in 2012 and in 2019 left fans surprised when she casually dropped live on GMB that she was single. She told co-host Ben Shephard on air: "Well, I'm single," and Ranvir confirmed she was no longer with her Ranjeet. Speaking about her boyfriend's age, Ranvir said: "We don’t ever joke about the age difference.
"Actually, age is no guarantee of someone being wonderful to you. There are complete gits who are exactly the same age as you. Age can define life experience, but that is only valuable if you've learned from it – it doesn't always mean you've got your life figured out." Summing up their relationship, Ranvir concluded: "There are things that he is better at than I am in terms of just being a good human being and I'm learning from him. So to me, it's a complete joy," to The Sun's Fabulous magazine.
