The Traitors fans threaten to 'riot' as show favourite 'axed' after betrayal
The Traitors viewers were furious on Friday night, as it was teased a show favourite had been murdered by Traitor Miles.
In a major twist on the show, the three Traitors Miles, Paul and Harry had to kill in plain sight. They were tasked with handing a golden chalice to the unsuspecting victim in front of the rest of the Faithfuls.
As the episode drew to an end after another eventful round table, Miles was tasked with being the one to hand the chalice to their chosen victim. As long as the victim drank from the cup before midnight, the death would be confirmed.
But as Harry teased the chosen target, it was Miles that showed viewers exactly who they had gone for - and fans were "screaming". Viewers threatened to "riot" as Miles encouraged show favourite Diane to drink from the poisoned chalice, with him not stopping until she took the cup.

As many viewers hoped she might have rejected the drink, others believed her fate was sealed and Diane was going home. Taking to X, one viewer fumed: "if Diane is murdered I will riot," as another said: "HOW DARE YOU TARGET QUEEN DIANE."
A third fan commented: "NO DIANE, NOOOOOOO," while a fourth said: "IF THEY’VE KILLED DIANE I SWEAR ON LUCIFER IM GOING TO COME FOR THEM." Another viewer rote: "This had better be a twist that whoever drinks is a new traitor. OR WE WILL RIOT."
Others hoped that Diane might not actually drink from the cup though, and her place on the show could be saved if they ran out of time. One viewer hoped: "Remember Diane has to drink from the chalice first," as another wrote: "Imagine the next episode starts with Diane pouring the drink into another glass."
