Designer trainers don’t usually come cheap, and even when discounted, it's rare to see any significant price cuts. However shoppers have found a pair of , they didn’t know if it was ‘legit’.

Rihanna, the queen of pop and a fashion icon in her own right, has been involved with Puma for nearly a decade, and has previously released a collection of stylish that reflect her eclectic taste. The partnership produced the Creeper sneaker in September 2015, with new colourways following in 2017 - but at £159.99, they weren’t what you’d consider inexpensive.

Those who eyed them up after the launch but were put off by the price have been left delighted with their bargain. Even those who paid slightly more have left glowing reviews on the cut-price kicks.

One said: “I love love love these! Great quality and look fab. Sizing is great, very comfortable. I like that they come with 2 pairs of laces for different looks. Also come with a very fancy embroidered velvet dust bag!”

Another added: “I wanted these when they first came out but the price was a bit mad so when they popped up in the sale on here I had to get them. They're soo cute and give me a bit of height, I always get compliments on them. Although they're true to size they do feel a bit odd till you break them in now they're super comfy.”

While a third wrote: “I was sceptical ordering these as they’re so cheap, but I was so impressed when they arrived! Legitimate box/dust bag and lovely product. They fit well and are sooooo comfortable.”
