The NFL Playoffs are here as the journey to the Super Bowl begins.

This weekend will host the Wildcard Round which will feature games on Saturday, January 13, Sunday, 14 and Monday, 15. The six games for the round are now set with the Cleveland Browns at the Houston Texans being the first big game of the weekend.

The San Francisco 49ers (NFC) and Baltimore Ravens (AFC) are the number one seeds in their respective conferences and earned byes through to the divisional round. Baltimore's Lamar Jackson is thought to be in pole position to cement league MVP while the Ravens are the current favourite to lift the famous trophy.

The 49ers were flying in the regular season until a 33-19 loss at home to the Ravens in Week 16 derailed them in what many are saying could be a preview of the Super Bowl itself. Last year's champions The Kansas City Chiefs will kick-off the defence of their title against the Miami Dolphins on Saturday night.

The much hyped, and usually powerful offense, has often failed to click into gear for Kansas so far this season meaning they will be looking toward Patrick Mahomes for inspiration once again. Other plotlines to look out for include CJ Stroud leading the Texans into the postseason off the back of a sterling rookie campaign while Matthew Stafford is set for a big return to the Lions.
