Carmen Electra's wildest moments as model legally files to change her name

Carmen Electra is officially looking to get a legal name change.

Technically, her birth name is Tara Leigh Patrick, but the star is set to go by her stage name forever. This will mean Carmen would be signing the name fans know her as on all her legal documents and bank accounts. The name change process is typically a pretty seamless one and, for now, there doesn't seem to be a reason this request would get denied by the government.

As for her reasons for wanting to change her name, Carmen hasn't said. However, Carmen Electra has become such a brand-worthy name that in 2020, Pornhub reported it had been searched more than 1.7 million times. If she's looking to capture those search metrics, it would make sense for the actress turned OnlyFans model to be consistent.

The legal documents obtained by TMZ didn't give much additional details. They were filed on Dec. 29, 2023, though, giving Carmen a chance to start fresh with her new (old) name in 2024.

Ever since rising to fame, Carmen has been known for her free-spirit and scandalous moments. She previously confessed to the Los Angeles Times that she and Dennis Rodman had sex in the Bulls' practice facility.

She said: "It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place—in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court. ... To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life."

Also during an adventure with Dennis, Carmen confessed to hiding from Michael Jordan. She said on The Last Dance: "There's a knock on the door, and it's Michael Jordan. And I hid. I didn't want him to see me like that. So I'm just, like, hiding behind the couch with covers over me, [and Jordan goes]: 'Come on! We got to get to practice.'"

In 2022, she opened her OnlyFans account and took control over her image. She told People: "I, for once, have this opportunity to be my own boss and have my own creative vision to share with my fans without someone standing over me, telling me, ‘Don’t do this, don’t do that. Cover up this.'"

After opening the account, she became super open about her experience. In fact, she publicly admitted that photos of feet were her most requested content. She told Fox News: "It's funny to me because I get a lot of requests for my feet, and it cracks me up. People want to see feet."
