Chelcee Grimes teases she's in relationship - months after kissing Christine
Chelcee Grimes has suggested she's currently in a "new relationship" whilst discussing what it's like to date in the public eye, which she described as a "weird" experience.
The songwriter, 31, opened up about dating whilst a guest on an episode of Boots' podcast Taboo Talk, which was focused on "coming out". Chelcee and Duncan James, 45, shared their experiences with host Vogue Williams, 38. During the newly-released episode, Chelcee spoke about being in the public eye. This included her sharing her thoughts on people commenting on her personal life online, which she described as "odd" during the conversation.

Is that hard to deal with, to have all that stuff in the press?" Chelcee said: "Yeah, I think... y'know they're the only ones you know about to be honest. There's been a couple." She continued: "It's the job I'm in. It's the industry I'm in. It's where I'm gonna meet people. Yeah it is weird." The former footballer went on to describe it as "a strange thing" and spoke about comments on social media.
Discussing her experience, Chelcee noted: "You start dating someone and then whatever someone wants to know about it... you would just never do that in a normal situation though. People commenting like online. Like writing." It was then suggested that Chelcee is in a relationship at the moment, with her telling host Vogue: "I'm getting messages from randoms about my new relationship." She did not reveal the identity of her apparent partner.

You wouldn't do it." She added that "the whole thing is odd" and then described herself as "low-key".

Seemingly discussing fame, she said: "I'm a very low-key person. I'm kind of on the outskirts of it all. I love my job. I love my life. I'm very grateful and blessed, and y'know I'm not in it in it. Sometimes I've dated people who are in it more than me and it's a whole new world for me. It's very odd."
She went on: "Like I said, the only thing you can really do is just be yourself throughout it all. If someone wants to take a picture of you then fair enough, but I don't know why. I'm really not that interesting." Chelcee has been romantically linked to celebrities over the course of her career including Love Island finalist Megan Barton Hanson, 29. The former couple are understood to have been together in around 2019, before splitting up.
More recently, she's attracted attention over her bond with presenter Christine McGuinness, 35. The two pals met when they competed on ITV's the Games back in 2022 and they were seen embraced in a kiss in December that year.
Christine - who announced that she had separated from her husband Paddy McGuinness months earlier - was spotted kissing Chelcee at Winter Wonderland in London. The pair appeared to lock lips again eight months later whilst on holiday together in Ibiza in August last year.
