Prince Harry gave fans a shock with a revelation about his "frost-nipped todger" in his bombshell book, Spare.

In the memoir, the Duke of Sussex recounted his painful experience on a trip to the North Pole in 2011. During the 200-mile expedition he suffered with frostbite on his ears, cheeks, and penis - ouch.

Harry explained that the frostbite left walking "difficult" and sex "impossible". But within eight hours, Prince Harry was able to heal his intimate injury thanks to his late mum's favourite beauty product - Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.

Harry said in his book: "The last place I wanted to be was Frostnipistan, I'd been trying some home remedies, including one recommended by a friend. She'd urged me to apply Elizabeth Arden cream."

He said to his friend, "My mum used that on her lips. You want me to put that on my todger?', who replied with: "It works, Harry. Trust me."

Sales of the product then skyrocketed by 60 percent, compared to 2022, according to Boots. The product has been loved by beauty fans for decades, and even before the royal's shock revelation, one jar would sell every 30 seconds somewhere in the world.

At the time, Boots humorously tweeted that customers could remember their "trusty" Elizabeth Arden cream. The post said: "With temperatures predicted to drop next week, don't forget to stock up on your trusty Eight Hour Cream. If you know, you know."

Elizabeth Arden tweeted: "Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant has been in the spotlight recently, but to us it's always been a star. Shout out if you were a fan of this award-winning product, before it got famous (again)."

The award-winning skin protectant is said to deliver intense nourishment to legs, lips, cuticles and more - no wonder it has an average rating of 4.7 on the Amazon website. In a five-star review, one delighted fan said of the cream: "I ran out of this - last tube lasted for YEARS - bought new and happy to have it again - it heals and soothes - if you have a spot developing, this will reduce it overnight - if you have a cut or a sore bit, this will sort it, dry lips, the lot - well worth the price."

Another shopper used the Elizabeth Arden product after undergoing a tattooing treatment. "It does indeed protect and hydrate your skin and heeled my tattoos perfectly," the customer wrote.

And a third person raved: "Eight hour cream was used by at least two generations of my family and that it is still made and sold in its original formula says much. Great for skin conditioning (particularly dry hand and nails) after surgery, which is why I got it."

Customers can purchase the 50ml Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream on Amazon for £18.05. If you'd prefer a smaller tube, the 30ml version has 33% off at Amazon, making it only £10.80.

A similar product from Boots will set you back only £5 in the retailer's latest sale, perfect if you're on a budget.
