Reality TV star Stephen Bear has boasted the exact date he will walk free from prison.

Previously, the TV personality had been found guilty of voyeurism and two counts of disclosing private, sexual photographs and films after sharing explicit videos of Georgia Harrison on OnlyFans in 2020.

Bear, 33, has already spent 11 months of his 21-month sentence for the revenge porn act and his freedom will arrive just two days following his 34th birthday. Whilst in jail, Bear earned less than a five pounds per week packaging tea and coffee for fellow prisoners at HMP Chelmsford.

After being transferred to HMP Brixton, a Category C prison, his weekly wage rose to £8 thanks to a job worked in the prison gym. It was anticipated that Bear would be released halfway through his sentence and now it has been confirmed.

In a post from Bear's official X account, someone appearing to write for the inmate shared: "I will be leaving Brixton prison on the 17th January. Can't wait to get my life back on track. Who's excited to see me?". Attached to the post was a poll where his followers could vote whether or not they were 'excited' for him to be set free from prison.

The vote offered people the options of "I can't wait to see you" or "I'd rather watch paint dry" - over 8,500 votes have been cast so far with the majority opting for the latter option.

Of his early release from prison, an insider told The Sun: "Stephen has served his time and he's due out of prison in the next few weeks. However, he's been telling pals he's not the same man that went into prison. There will be no hopping back on to social media or rolling straight back into the nearest nightclub when he gets out, he says he just wants to get back to east London and his family. "Obviously time will tell if he has changed his ways."

Bear's ex-girlfriend Jessica Smith had previously promised to wait for him on the outside, showing support during the trial. However, she dumped him in September with Bear reportedly 'crying for days', with attempts to beg for their relationship back.

Just before Bear's release, Jessica was seen on a romantic date with her new boyfriend Josh. Bear's conviction came after he secretly filmed himself and Georgia having consensual sex on CCTV. After uploading the footage, the reality TV star made at least £40,000 by sharing it on an adult site.

Georgia bravely gave up her right to anonymity during the trial to reveal the trauma she experienced and raise awareness for other women. The Love Island star posted on social media after learning her ex-boyfriend was about to be released from prison.

"Dear universe ... thank you for everything," she wrote in a reflective post. "Thank you for the blessings , thank you for the lessons, thank you for the mistakes that weren't really mistakes. Thank you for the friends that became angels, thank you for the tears watering the seeds of new beginnings and thank you for the law of attraction..."

In her latest move, Georgia has signed up to appear in the new Love Island All Stars. Earlier this year, Georgia shared with the Sun: "I had serious conversations with a couple of Labour MPs about if I could run for Essex, and they said it would be possible." Meanwhile, how Bear will earn his keep after being released is unclear. His £500,000 home in Essex was sold last summer to cover debts.
