Tuesday's EuroMillions draw jackpot has gone unclaimed - meaning there will be an even bigger chance of winning a life-changing sum of money in a double rollover later this week.

The draw, the first of the twice-weekly games, took place at 8pm but after no one bagged the £55m lottery jackpot, the prize money will increase to a jaw-dropping £67million when the draw returns on Friday, January 12.

To play the twice-weekly game, Brit players choose six numbers from one to 59 or choose a lucky dip - and best of all, it costs just £2 per ticket. And as well as being in with a chance of winning serious cash, playing the National Lottery's Lotto also helps raise around £30m each week for UK good causes.

Where is EuroMillions played?

EuroMillions is a lottery played across nine European countries - the UK, Ireland, Spain, France, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal and Switzerland. The game launched on 7th February, 2004, and has now had over 1,000 draws.

How is the prize calculated?

The jackpot begins at €17 million, which is different in Sterling depending on the exchange rate on draw day, and can increase up to a maximum value of €240 million.

How to play EuroMillions

The draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday evening at 8pm. Players have to choose five main numbers from 1 to 50, along with two Lucky Stars between 1 and 12.

You can either pick the numbers yourself, purchase a Lucky Dip or use a random number generator to create an entry.

You can enter up to seven lines on a single play slip at a UK retailer.

Purchase your entries before the cutoff time for that draw.

Relax and wait for the results!
