Woman's skin turns blue and rushes to hospital - but it was something different
A pregnant woman has gone viral on social media after she shared a hilarious "blunder" that forced her to go to hospital.
Originally from Norway, Malin Haraldsen was rushed to her local hospital after she noticed her skin turning blue. Not only that, but she saw that her leg, nails, and fingers were turning an odd shade too.
The mother-to-be, who was in Denmark at the time, left doctors baffled after she turned up to the emergency room in the middle of the night. The 27-year-old had ultrasounds and was given blood-thinners, as doctors were concerned that it could be a blood clot.
However, as medical staff wiped alcohol over her skin following the injection, they realised the real cause – believing the colour from Malin’s trousers had rubbed onto her skin. She said: “The doctors first thought it was severe and a really special case. The doctor who was giving me blood thinner wiped my leg with alcohol before the shot but no colour came off then.
"But after the shot, he wiped me again and the wipe was full of colour. We all started to laugh and they told me they had an awful night so they absolutely loved the outcome! Since I’m pregnant, they really loved it was just colour from my pants and not a blood clot like we all thought."

She believes the funny incident happened after she wore them recently.
She said: “It was the first time I was wearing them, but I had washed them two times before use. “I went to the hospital around 1.15 am after I called into the ER around 1 am.”
Time stamps on the pictures show Malin undergoing tests throughout the night before they realised the blunder around 6.30 am. The budding mum opted not to contact Shein customer service because she didn’t want to “bother” with it, but has shared the experience on TikTok, where it has garnered 8.4 million views and 610,000 likes.
