Woman slams airline after finding stone in meal fearing she could have choked
A woman who discovered a stone in the curry she was served during an in-flight meal service has slammed the airline, claiming she could have choked.
Savapriya Sangwa was travelled with Air India on a flight from Delhi to Kathmandu when she made the discovery.
After flight attendants dished out the food to passengers, Savapriva was stunned to discover that hers contained a small, hard object.
She was halfway through enjoying the curry during the flight on Sunday January 8 when she claimed to have found the stone.
The furious woman said it was a choking hazard and expressed her anger at Air India.

"Crew member Ms Jadon was informed. This kind of negligence is unacceptable."
After complaining, Air India quickly responded to Savapriva. It had has taken serious note of the incident and would contact the catering team, the airline said.
An airline spokesperson tweeted back to her: "Dear Ma'am, we wish to speak with you in this regard.
"Could you please share your contact number and a convenient time to connect anytime today? Dear Ma'am, this is concerning and we're taking this up immediately with our Catering team.
"Please allow us some time to get back. We appreciate you bringing this to our notice."
Air India spokesperson said: "Air India has taken serious note of the incident where a passenger found a stone in her in-flight meal on AI 215.
"We sincerely regret this incident and have apologised to the passenger.
"We have taken up the matter with the caterer and will be initiating strict action against the caterer."
