Porn film star found dead aged 24 after going public with claims
Thaina Fields, the porn star who made claims about sexual abuse in the adult entertainment industry, has been found dead at her home.
Police are investigating her death but did not revealed how the 24-year-old died. Tributes have been paid to the adult actress who was discovered was discovered at her home in Trujillo, Peru, this weekend.
Eight months ago the star, whose real name was Abigail, went public and announced that she had suffered "very strong" sexual abuse when she started her career in the adult industry.
She said last year: "I have suffered sexual harassment and abuse after starting to create adult content. It's very strong. At first I said that I couldn't sue and many thought that by hiring me they could do what they wanted with me, but then I came home, took a bath and cried."
She went on: "He told me that I had to be strong and I let it go. It happened to me many times. It is very difficult to be a woman and create adult content when society is literally in s**t."

Thaina, who had a worldwide fan base, previously addressed her struggles with mental health. She says she suffered with dysthymia and obsessive-compulsive disorder how says therapy and medication helped her cope.
A number of her fans and former colleagues rushed to pay tribute to her following her sudden death on Saturday. Close friend and fellow content creator Alejandra Sweet wrote: "Thaina, beautiful, from where you are, you shine like a star and I am sure of that, I can't say more. I was just hoping that you would respond to my last message. A kiss to heaven."
