Woman 42 years younger than her husband hits back at cruel gold digger claims
A woman 42 years younger than her husband has hit back at online trolls who branded her a gold digger and claimed she is only with him for a green card.
Jackie Epstein, 28, met husband Dave Epstein, 70, of Oakland, California in 2016 through dating site Cherry Blossoms and the pair have since gone to receive a barrage of online abuse, with some trolls referring to her as her partner’s “grandchild.” The customer service associate has faced down these trolls, however, by posting videos of her and Dave’s ever-growing bond online.
“My family and friends are very supportive about our relationship. They have never commented on the age gap between us,” Jackie said. “They can tell we love each other and I think your family and friends just want you to be happy and Dave and I share a happy life so there is no reason for them to not support it.

Dave was in Cebu, Philippines when he first matched with Jackie via Cherry Blossoms, with the pair having their first date at a local Starbucks. The couple got married in 2018 and have been going strong ever since.
Since meeting Dave, Jackie has launched a TikTok page with over 50,000 followers and 300,000 likes. Speaking of the couple’s growing social media presence, she said: “We will keep sharing our relationship because we are proud of it, an age gap isn't something to be ashamed of, who cares how old your partner is?
“We have people reaching out online saying we inspired them to go public with their age gap relationship or to start dating someone older or younger they may not have previously considered.
“Then it is all worth it, to inspire people to be their authentic selves and live a life that makes them happy, we are doing some good as long as we are doing that,” she added.

She explained: “Dave and I have a lot in common. The main thing we share is that we love each other, strong relationships are built on that common denominator. Some people online have said that we inspired them. What a beautiful thing to hear. We want to provide hope and inspiration to other people who are in an age-gap relationship.
“If two people love each other, if they want to go through life together nothing should stop them, especially something as silly as being younger or older than their partner, age is just a number.”
